Yacht Opportunity is a world class 55ft  Dutch built steel sloop built in 1972.  She has undergone a rebirthing of body and spirit under the guidance of her owners, including a new interior this year featuring Mexican hand painted tiles and sink in the main head and in the galley.

Yacht Opportunity sleeps 6 comfortably. The layout includes an aft cabin directly under the cockpit that has one single berth and one small double berth with a half head. You enter the pilot house first when you go down below from the cockpit which has 2 berths typically occupied by Captain, crew and yacht mascot, the little international dog, Starr. Down below and forward of the pilot house is the galley and main salon.

The main salon is set up with a table for meals and a roomy space for relaxing or training…and converts to a sleeping space for 4. Continuing forward is a hallway hosting closet space and the main head with the bow cabin at the most forward point. The bow cabin has a roomy triangular double berth perfect for good friends.

Yacht Opportunity is insured, and operated by extremely capable mariners allowing you to sit back and relax in safety.  The vessel is equipped with radar, GPS navigation, VHF and single-side band radios, autopilot, fish finder, 20 man life raft, air conditioning, refrigeration and freezer, 4 burner stove and oven, TV and video collection, CD stereo system, and electric flush head.
